I’m Faye Louise and I’m the founder of Luella York, an online independent lifestyle & gifting store. We are proud to be a small business which launched officially during the Pandemic in 2020, offering a selection of products and homewares. Having worked in retail and supply we decided to set up our own online store and enable you to buy products that we love, hopefully bringing you a carefully selected range of affordable luxuries to brighten your day.
We are based in Nottingham, we have the beautiful Wollaton Hall and Rushcliffe country park on our doorstep and can be often found there taking a walk with our beautiful baby girl (lockdown baby!) to clear our mind which is great for mental health, something I am very passionate about. We love to travel and have been fortunate to visit lots of countries where we see new and inspiring ideas for our range. Whilst trying out the Pina Colada’s pretty much where ever I go!
Having being a textile designer by trade for many years I have been fortunate to experience a lot of challenges in the retail space and also gain a lot of knowledge, so here I am putting that into practise!
Greeting cards and stationery has being a love of mine for so many years, when visiting Spring Fair I came across some great ranges but the simple, bold and fun cards from LS20 were by far a fave so we had to stock them! That’s where LY began! During lockdown I started designing a greeting card range which I am proud to be stocking on Etsy and Thortful Our range has changed several times now but the OAP card is by far our bestseller!
It’s been a couple of years now since Luella York evolved from a constant obsession in my head to reality so with lots of planning; selecting of products, building the website and social media platforms. We hope to bring you a beautiful store where you can find beautiful gifts for someone special and of course something for you! We are so passionate in providing the best service to our customers and are truly grateful for your support.
